Yakima JetStream Crossbars Roof Rack Installation - 2022 Nissan Armada

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima JetStream roof rack system on our 2022 Nissan Armada. So if you have longer or bulkier items, having a roof rack is gonna allow you to transport that as well as your crew at the same time. Your weight capacity is right at 165 pounds, but you definitely wanna check your owner's manual to make sure you're within the capacity of your roof. Yakima Roof Rack Installation - 2019 Nissan Sentra- Video

Yakima Roof Rack Installation - 2019 Nissan Sentra

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have a Yakima roof rack system that we are going to take a look at on our 2019 Nissan Sentra. If you're planning on carrying around some fun accessories like a rooftop box or a basket or maybe some kayaks, what you first need is a roof rack system, and for your Nissan Sentra, yes, there are options for you. Now, this Yakima system is unique in that it does have a little bit more of an involved process. It does take longer to install, but the results are that it gives you more crossbar spread, meaning more space or more surface area for your cargo. If you're carrying around kayaks, ladders, even a Christmas tree, that extra long cargo would appreciate this wider crossbar spread. That crossbar spread is measured from the center of one crossbar to the other. more

Yakima JetStream Roof Rack Installation - 2021 Nissan Rogue

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Yakima Roof Rack system which we'll take a look at on our 2021 Nissan Rogue. If you wanna carry around fun accessories like kayaks or ladders, or maybe you want a roof-mounted bike rack or extra cargo space in the form of a roof box, what you first need is a roof rack system. So this is the system from Yakima, which is ideal for if you want a premium roof rack that is strong, it's sturdy but it also gives you extra long crossbars spread. Compared to other brands, this gives you a wider platform with your crossbar staying further apart so you can carry those longer items like kayaks, ladders or even Christmas trees if you want. For your Rogue's roof, you wanna make sure there's enough clearance underneath for clamps or U-bolts and wing nuts. Here from our roof to bottom of the crossbar I have it at three inches of clearance and then the height addage to the top of our roof at the top of the crossbar is gonna be four inches of height. more

Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we'll be taking a look at and I'll show you how to install this Yakima roof rack on this 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport. If you wanna carry around fun accessories like kayaks or a roof box or roof basket, or even a roof-mounted bike rack, you first need a roof rack. So this is gonna be a custom-fit roof rack for your Nissan Rogue Sport. Compared to the other brands, this is more custom-fit because there's a lot of tilting involved so you have a level surface that's further apart, good for those longer items like kayaks and roof boxes. Some important numbers for you to know is that this has a really long crossbar spread. So from one crossbar to another, that's gonna be 32 inches apart. more

Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit Installation - 2016 Nissan Versa Note- Video

Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit Installation - 2016 Nissan Versa Note

Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2016 Nissan Versa Note, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Roadmaster battery charge line kit for towed vehicles. Now for the Nissan Versa Note, you're going to need seven main components to be able to flat tow it down the road. You're going to need a tow bar, a base plate, safety cables, a diode wiring kit, a braking system, a battery charge line, and a brake light relay. Our charge line kit isn't going to hardly take up any space, and this is where we have it mounted. Whether you're new to flat towing or experienced, everyone can relate to that uneasy feeling you get when you go to put your key in the ignition and your battery's dead, and when we're flat towing our Nissan, it will use some of our battery power, so the chances of that happening are pretty good, and that's what our battery charge line is going to prevent. It's going to get connected to the center post here in your 6-way and use some of the power from the motor home's batteries, that power is going to run up into the engine compartment to our breaker where you have it mounted, that power's going to travel through the breaker and come over to the positive terminal on our battery. It's going to provide us with a total of 15 amps, which isn't going to affect your motor home or RV's batteries, but it's going to be enough to charge our car battery. So all in all, it's going to help prevent us from having to bother anyone at the camp site for a jumpstart, having to worry about finding a battery if we can't find that jumpstart, or even lugging around a jump box.Now this is one of the easier things to install, so let's go ahead and do that together now. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Nissan Rogue we're going to be doing a test fit on the Yakima RoundBar Roof Rack System using part numbers Y00408 for the 48 inch round crossbars, part number Y03536 for the RoundBar Adapters, and part number Y00147 for the TimberLine Towers for raised factory side rails. This Yakima entry level roof rack system is going to allow you to carry roof mounted accessories on your Rogue, accessories like bike racks, cargo baskets, cargo boxes, and much more.It uses traditional round bars, as opposed to Yakima's JetStream or CoreBars. It's not going to be as aerodynamic or as quiet, but you can pick up a fairing if wind noise and drag is a concern. It's a plastic coated steel bar that will allow you to carry clamp on accessories. The RoundBars are held in place with the TimberLine Towers, which are specifically designed to work with raised rails. They feature a rubber-coated stainless steel strap so they won't harm or scratch any finish. more
